If it is indeed a pressure sensitivity issue. If the switch is set to low, then it will run continuously. If it's too sensitive it will cycle excessively. Just needs to be tuned to the sweet spot.
I had the opposite issue since I bought my coach. It was too sensitive so I needed to tone it down a bit so it ran smooth. I did find that if I turned the sensitivity down too much it would run non-stop.
