Kayaks and Class C

Ok...so we have 2 kayaks I want to take for a weekend trip coming up, but I see no need to pull a trailer just for that. Mine is a heavier fishing kayak. Her's is a lighter weight just paddling thing. I have seen one kayak on a ladder, but never 2 secured anywhere.

My questions is...what do you suggest as the best/safest way to secure the 2 kayaks to the rear of the unit?
