good points above.... I like the sound of the hatch in the bay for simplicity, but that would be a bit more of a pain in the neck for frequent plug in and out stuff....
Of course I don't know your layout or your needs really. It's where it needs to be for you.
I'll say this....
1) it seems like it would likely be easy to add an outlet just outside of the one in the bay
2) mine is on the awning side, mid coach. If I were installing it form scratch, I'd put it closer to the awning arm, so when my wife wants to put up her tacky lights, they could go right to it.....
