Removing Vegas/Axis Dash Desk

In the early Axis/Vegas model years to replace the chassis battery the recommended method was to remove the dash desk and then cut through the plywood dash top in a designated area to access the battery from above. In searching the forum for replacing the Axis/Vegas chassis battery on 2014 or 2015 models I found that owners Chucke and Gunner3 describe their experience in changing their battery. I included a description and pictures in the owners' manual I compiled that is available here on the forum.

What I have not been able to find is how to remove the dashtop desk. In Chucke's description he talks about removing 12 screws but I do not see where those screws are. I'd appreciate if someone could post a description on how to remove the desk. If anyone has pictures that would also be helpful.

Thanks.
