Air temp would also be a good contribution. We often start day in very low temps and end high. I do not think a 50 degree spread would be very unusual for a days drive. No way we can set pressure alarm at anything close to 15%. Even pavement makes a difference in tire pressure. Blacktop heated by the sun will produce higher tire temp/pressure than concrete as will sun shining on tires. Except for front tires I have found tire temp worthless. Our front aluminum wheels have short stems and the sensor is recessed and protected. Rear wheels have much more exposed valve stems and hoses with sensor and stem exposed to lots of moving air. Temps on our rears are probably pretty close actual air. This is a complex and very technical study. Looking forward to the progress reports and changes in thinking from start to finish. As a very old EET I respect the effort and time needed for such a project. Have Fun Jamie.
