I've been keeping the RV at my house & have it plugged into our house to keep the batteries charged.
We get a lot of snow, ice, rain, etc. and I'm always worried about the cord & connections getting wet.
I had an extra storage bin in the garage, so I "customized" it with a hacksaw to make sure the electrical connections stay out of harms way.
I put a block in the bottom to keep the wind from moving it around and my lid snaps on securely.
Once I have everything connected, I slide it under the back of the RV to help keep it out of the elements even more.
So far, it's been working out very well for me.
