I should have had another photo.

The inverter is mounted inside the bench.

I use the 12V plug to plug in my laptop power.

The switch is the disconnect for the tabletop power

My thinking was two fold.

I wanted to keep power consumption as low as possible, and I aready had the 12V charger for my laptop and the 100W inverter for the outlets.

100W isn't much but it lets me drive a 24" tv/Monitor which peaks at 25W

The lap top charger draws about 150W at 12 V.

It will be simple enough to upsize the inverter later if I feel the need.

I might do the same setup for the over the cab TV/DVD. In which case I'll re-purpose the 100W inverter and buy a bigger one for the bench.
