We had something similar: Picked up our 5th wheel in October, put it away for the winter, and when we got it out of storage found a bullet hole in the roof (I know it was a bullet hole because I found the bullet inside).
Had to make an insurance claim and replace the entire membrane.. 5th wheel never leaked (we had it for 10+ years after that).
Not sure if that would be a warranty item or not. I'd just ask a lot of questions (how will fix, cost, who will do the work, is there any warranty on workmanship, etc.). Once repaired I doubt you'd have any further issues with the roof (see above experience with 5er).
