On my prior class C all my televisions (3 of them) were Jensen 12V televisions. There was never a problem when connected to shore power or running the generator. There was a drain if they were on and the coach was running off battery power.

Also keep in mind, that the house batteries serve as emergency starting power if the chassis battery should go dead for one reason or another. Two house batteries do supply more cranking amps than one.
