The previous post questioned if it would top off 80 psi tires. When on - the compressor charges the tank to 135 psi (preset) and remains off until the tank pressure decreases to 95 psi. At 95 psi in the tank, the compressor will start and stay on until the pressure reaches 135 psi. The tire fill hose has an independent pressure regulator with separate pressure gauge. This hose also has a shut off. Separate from the tire fill hose is a quick disconnect (M style).
