So on Tuesday I traveled from Tucson, AZ to Alamogordo, NM and when I stop or gas in Las Cruces I noticed that my frame bent where the 8k lbs hitch is installed. I don’t know how this happened as my Jeep weighed in at 5100lbs. I’m not sure when on the route this happened, but at one point a Semi truck cut me off and hit his brakes pretty good causing me to slam my brakes briefly. I do have the roadmaster invisabrakes installed on the Jeep. I’m going to call Thor on Monday to see if they will take care of this, because what good is an 8k lbs hitch if the frame it’s mounted to won’t hold up to 5100 lbs? Has anyone else had an issue like this?
