thanks, but yeah... the floor polish is long gone. That was a couple years ago that I put it on. It weathered away a long time ago. I will say that it lasted a surprisingly long time for what it is though.

Yes, I have considered that painting would be the long term better solution. If we end up keeping this thing for the long haul I may end up doing that eventually.... professional automotive type job I mean.... but I'm not there yet.

Anyway, Hoping someone will chime in with experience and knowledge of how that stuff would weather over time.

hmmm..... Maybe in the mean time I'll plan on doing a test area up high where it can't be really seen form the ground. See how it looks and let it weather for a few months to see what happens. It'll be a while though till I get the thing home again to do some maintenance projects.
