Slide goes in on its own..any like problems?

We had a very strange occurrence the other night while camping. We were in bed asleep when we were woken by the bedroom slide retracting on its own. Quite the surprise wake up call! After this the slide was dead. Fuse was fine and the other slides worked fine also. I unhooked the connectors going to the control box for that slide, and then plugged them back in and waited. After a few minutes I tried the slide again at the switch and it worked fine, and has worked fine since. I am curious if anyone else has experienced this and if so what they found as the cause. I haven't contacted Lippert yet but will. The only thing I can think of is possibly a power surge however I have a surge protector on my shore power cord that should prevent anything like that from happening. Any thoughts?
