My Vegas tires have mostly held their pressure well, but I carry a small compressor from Sears with no tank. Takes up so much less space than the tank one I had before, $40 with free shipping. I prefer an AC unit, as it is easier for me to crank up the generator and use a cord than it is to connect to the batteries.

It generates enough pressure to air my tires to the recommended 65 and 75 psi in a few minutes, even when a leaking extension dropped one to 45.
