Settled on a Acme Ez-Tow Tow Dolly , found a "Pre-owned" Ez-Tow a couple of hours from me in great condition, at a great price.

Our 2015 Ford Edge is so wide the safety chains are too short, and the lower arm looks so flimsy I'm afraid it won't hold. Going with strap through the wheels, connected to the chains.
