I haven't done it from my RV--yet. Both my work and my wife's work allow us to telecommute. Usually its just a day or so here and there but we've often contemplated spending a week somewhere and just telecommuting from there.

The big issue as I see it is if you need an internet connection to VPN into the office all day or not. I don't; since I write software I can just write it on my laptop and I don't need a VPN connection to check the corporate e-mail. My wife, on the other hand, needs a good VPN connection; something that many campgrounds don't really have. Although since we'd be doing it during the week the campground's WiFi wouldn't be overloaded. (We've been calling these possible trips: "Camping and commuting".)
