honestly, after an initial lubing some months after we first got our Palazzo, I've not lubed it since - in over 3 years - and they both continue to work just fine. I'm not really sure 'what' about the slide mechanism really 'needs' lubing, as these systems are not constantly working, they are only used very sparingly, and only traveling 12" to 30" each time.
While I carry a can of the CR lube, it is not one of the maintenance items on my list.
but, that's just our experience, in 84,000 miles and many, many slide outs and ins.
Just sayin. I'm not one to worry over it.
