Yes, I would check the TS first and then see if it is getting power from shore power. After I fixed my TS burn-out, the next trip I was without shore power when hooking up at a campsite. Traced it to cracked and overheated shore power receptacle on side of coach. Pulled it off and found that the lugs were so loose that the wires slipped out. Fortunately, the receptacle was still usable and I tightened lugs back up and was ok until I got home and ordered a new one.
Never underestimate what Thor can't do.
