This is what I have done with removing the dinette. My wife needs a power recliners as she is disabled. I kept everything in tact as I removed it so that I could reinstall it if/when we trade the unit in. I kept the same framework that was under the short side of the dinette, where are all the power, and ventilation is. I relocated the power center. Added an additional circuit so that I could have a dedicated circuit for the recliners, and one for laptops, phones etc. The wood work is 1/2" maple ply for side wall, 1/4' maple ply on the power center, and then 3/4" maple ply for the table top. The trim is oak. I want to build some sort of shelf or shelves to cover where tabs are that mounted the shirt side backrest.
I purchased the following dual recliner set, and plan to pick it up tomorrow. I will take pics once installed to show the finished project....
