Miles per Day?
Most here seem to be like me. I like to average around 350 miles per day. With stopping for fuel, snack fast food and a few breaks for the dogs ( which I try to do all in the same stops) makes for me about a 6-8 hour day on the road and gets me to a camping area before dark.
I have road warriored when necessary like Chicago to Texarkana or Sioux Falls 780/600 miles respectively. I don't recommend it but it can be done when the family need arises like when you need to attend a funeral. You will be wiped out for the following day after pushing that hard.
I have learned that anything over 350 miles is no longer enjoyable and tends to turn into work. I like to RV for pleasure so I avoid it becoming work. In the end the miles per day you travel will fall within your personal comfort zone as well as be influenced by your Dear Wife who insists on stopping to see the worlds biggest ball of yarn that's "only 78 miles off course".
