Well, wanted to report back on the fan performance. I currently have 900 miles on this trip and the fan is performing flawlessly. We’ve traveled through the middle of Texas to Okie City, to Palo Duro, and am now west of Amarillo. The fan blades are~2 inches below the slide, and the way that I have locked in the ball/rod, nothing has moved, and it’s still rock solid. We’ve camped in open sun everyday, with temperatures in the upper 90’s, and the ac would not have cooled the coach without the fan. I am well pleased, and would recommend this upgrade to anyone. If you don’t have the expertise, hire someone.
