Sorry to hear about your wife. Unfortunately, I can sort of relate. I have been dealing with Prostate Cancer myself, and our Miramar has just been sitting in the driveway since last October, before we found out about my cancer. The wife and I could swear we heard the coach whimpering every time we backed out the driveway past it, NOT going camping. This last weekend, we finally got to take it out for a long weekend to celebrate being done with radiation treatments. We remembered everything we love about our Miramar, and yes, it really is easy to just load up and go. It is a very comfortable coach, that really does feel like a smaller (rolling) version of home. I’m sure your wife will enjoy traveling in it. We are in Southern California (Ventura County), and went up the coast to Flying Flags in Buellton. We rented a car, and drove over to Solvang for a play in their outdoor theater. It was fun, and a relaxing change from the drama of the past few months. Honestly though, I have not seen that many Miramar owners weighing in on this forum; haven’t seen very many Miramar RV’s on the road, either..... which I really don’t understand, since they’re such nice coaches.

I wish you and your bride Godspeed in your journey through her treatment. My wife is also a cancer survivor. Having cancer makes you a member of a club you never wanted to join, but it doesn’t define who you are. As you already know, California’s coast has a plethora of great RV resorts just perfect for short haul trips. We will pray for you both, and hope we see you in a Miramar soon somewhere in Cali very soon! God Bless you!
