What’s surprising about hybrid vehicles is that they don’t need very large batteries to significantly improve fuel economy. I’m not refering to electric cars or plug-in hybrids which have much larger batteries, rather normal hybrids that often have less battery energy storage than many RV batteries. Some hybrids have less than 1 kW-hour of energy storage, yet can put out huge power levels.
