In my 2 Class A's (32' Infinity and 33' Hurricane) I have been able to get 10' and 12' kayaks inside for travel... Easier when slide is out to load - but done it both ways (first RV didn't have slide.)
Goes in on its side - angled toward back... over kitchen counter and lays in 'hallway' while traveling. A little interesting to walk around while on the road with 2 in there, but it works.
Haven't found a better option with the 12' - Toad is a soft top Wrangler with no roof rack - so can't go there.
