Can't agree with Bob on shopping being more than half the fun. The buying process is a great adventure, but it is only the start.

If you are new to RV's you would be wise to rent one for a week or a weekend, you'll learn a lot about what you do and don't want. (I.e: We wouldn't want a corner bed.) You'll find lots of complaints about the big chain with initials C and W. Personally, that would be the last place I would take my business.

There are a lot of used motor homes on the market. New ones lose a big chunk of value when driven off the lot. In five years they may be worth half the cost of a new one, and could have a lot of value left in them. Plus your insurance and interest cost will be much lower.
