I haven't used a cover... for Michigan winters or Florida summers...
Mainly thinking it would reduce my usage if I had to deal with taking the cover off and on for each trip. I don't view them as easy to use - more of a wrestling match on the roof of the RV.
Others have reported covers coming loose and damaging the finish.
Now it just sits there ready to go anytime I want - start it up and drive.
Personal preference of course...
