Never used over 15 gallons the entire venture. I'm not "afraid" to use the generator but why run 6000W genset when you only need a fraction of it? If it gets hot during the heat of the day, I will use onboard system for both A/C's but not for long. Just my opinion and practice.

We do this as well; run a Honda 2000 for "maintenance" loads, run the Cummins for Air Conditioning.
