RVIA requires the emergency escape windows release fully so as not to "impede expeditious exit". Coach owners who previously tried to open the emergency escape window for bedroom ventilation have discovered if it is pushed open more than 25 degrees the upper hinges will release the entire window. It is a necessary feature if you ever need to leave the coach by this exit. I would recommend you test the side window emergency exit very carefully.
