I Upgraded to Recliner from Sofa Bed
The 3 RecPro boxes with my new Recliners and Console arrived about supper time last night. GF was sleeping over last night so she helped me get them out of the boxes and into the Vegas.
My only hitch during the installation this AM was the electrical junction box on the slide out deck. When they mounted it to the deck, "someone" stripped one of the screws. Working in limited space, using drill bit and hammer and cold chisel, it took nearly 30 minutes to get on to the next step.
Anyway, they are installed and feel and look great. Found during the installation that:'
a. Did not need to remove the dining table holder.
b. Fits on the slide out without the need of any extension.
c. With slide out in or out the recliner goes full out. However, in the "in" mode the front edge of the back recliner nearly touches the cabinets. But, really don't think I'll be using it "full out" unless the slide out is "out".
d. Cabin table has found a new home in the space between the driver's chair and the wall. Shares that space with my "emergency" 24 pack of Cokes.
d. Ended up standing bunk ladder at the far end of the recliners. Mine was too tall to stow in the closet.
e. To reduce possible rattle noise made individual sleeves for the table legs. They are stowed behind the recliners but not in the rack.
Thanks to all for suggestions.
