Cabinet Door Hardware

Iím throwing this one out there to see if this is a trend...
Are your cabinet door pull handles installed distant from the door catches? On my 2017 Miramar 34.1 this was the case. The problem with this is that the longer cabinet doors will flex somewhat when youíre opening them as well as not closing as tightly. This especially becomes problematic when you flex a cabinet door that has a mirror or glass insert. Well I went through our Coach and removed and reinstalled the door catches to be as close as possible to the door pulls. It makes a big difference in the functionality of the cabinet doors. It would be interesting to find out if our cabinet hardware installation is the exception and not the rule. Happy RVing!Click image for larger version
