Yes, you can have the rear camera on all the time on the Garmin and it switches to the side camera when the turn signal is on, then back to the rear camera. You can also flip between the rear camera and the map at anytime. The warnings (sharp curve ahead etc) pop up too even when the camera is being displayed. I like the set up a lot.

Hey Vince, I have the Garmin 770 in my 2018 Hurricane 29M and would love to make this change, moving the camera views to the Garmin screen. Please if you can detail the mod for this application I would be grateful. - Thanks!
