Joint Base Lewis McChord near Seattle has a couple of Fam Camps on base. One of them takes reservations and is within a mile of the main gate, PX and commissary.
Consider joining an RV group named S.M.A.R.T. All members are active, retired, honorably discharged or dependents of military. Small organization, but has chapters that cover most of the U.S. and is a great source for up to date base info.
