Trying Garmin 770
I had the large Magellan RV GPS for several years and it started acting weird. Went to update the software and maps (remember, they have "lifetime updates") and found that they wouldn't support or update it. Contacted Magellan and found out that lifetime updates is for the calculated lifetime of the unit, which is 3 years. After that, you're on your own.
After much research, I purchased the Garmin RV 770. Still checking it out. I did call Garmin customer support and they said their lifetime updates are not calculated for a specific time frame. Here's hoping it all works well, and for a long time!
