Yes they should give you a credit for the tire. On a trailer, I had one GY blowout and two separate and go flat on one trip several years ago. All were made in China as I soon learned, and all 4 tires were new before trip.
They gave me credit for all three + one still standing that I removed. There was not much left of the blown tire, but the other two had wall separation. The one still up had bubbles on the side wall.
