I know nothing about your particular model but assume you are referring to the inverter Thor installed. My ACE came with a 1000watt inverter installed to run the tv's and only the tv's. We do a lot of dry camping and 1000watts is not enough and doesnt power the circuits we need. If that currents suffices then I wouldnt mess with it. The converter wouldnt need changed unless you added a lot of batteries and made the converter struggle.
