are you talking about my contribution Bob ? If so, … there was a time, when Ron drove 5 over whenever we hit the road...regardless of whether it was the car, motorcycle or RV …..now..in the last couple years he sets cruise at 55 and lets everyone pass him...rather relaxing...and yes, it does affect the mpg...not significantly … and when we get close to 11, very rarely, it is dumb luck. Ron does add Lucas to each tank, which he has done for many years. He sez..does it help mpg...probably not enough to claim...
Now that our 2016 has over 20k miles on it, it behaves like it is broken in.
I posted this fact once before...in Colorado, descending Wolf Creek Pass , elev.10850'...our first summer with this motorhome, we averaged a whopping 14mpg for about 5 minutes !! ha !!
