We keep our's in a garage plugged-in to shore power at all times. Summer time we keep AC set about 78 to keep it relatively cool and reduce humidity. Winter heat is set to 50 to keep everything nice and toasty above freezing. We use our rig 12 months on short trips at least.
Fridge is always ready. Temp is always where we can get to comfortable quickly. No need to winterize. Always ready to head out. In more extreme climates this may not be a good option, but it works here.
