Another quick project done today. I always hate having the sewer hose on the ground. And the slinky support always falls or the hose gets push through when dumping. So while at home depot yesterday I picked up two 10' pieces of PVC rain gutter, couple small eye bolts, 8 bolts with wing nuts.
Cut the gutter in half for 4 pieces of 5'. Drilled holes every 8" for bolts and wing nuts. By putting holes every 8" I can adjust the length of the gutter as needed and the gutters fit inside each other which adds some strength. Use two 6" pieces of chain to attach to eye bolts that I bolted to the bottom of the sewer cargo bay
With the four pieces I can attach them together and run almost the 20' minus the over lap.
The hose fits nice and secure in the gutter and will now be protected from the dirt and rocks at the campsite. Rocks cause small holes in the sewer hose
Depending on the length of the run the hose maybe elevated the entire way or at least close to it.
The gutters fit in the rear cargo compartment
