I haven't seen this mod posted anywhere on the forum.
I didn't like sitting on the couch because there are no tables within arms-length, but its the best spot to see the TV. I found two foldable shelf brackets on
Amazon for $12. Bought a small sheet of plywood at Lowe's. Thought I did a surprisingly good job choosing the stain.
I can even leave it up when walking in and out of the door. It really doesn't get in the way.
