Maybe this should be another topic buttt...I disagree with the word never, or I would add places to end of your statement. Then I would agree.
I don't drink water from my fresh water tank or drink water from a privately monitored system.
As I understand Texas is one the the few states that monitors and controls the private water systems used by the public. That I start using on the second day.
Where ever you are located, clean your connection and bleach the hose also if not used daily
