I remember seeing a post last year said the manufacture of our mirror (for Axis/Hurricane etc) had longer arms that can be installed. Not sure how much longer but it seems like some forum members replaced them.
Look up the name brand of the OEM mirrors (Might be written under the mirror?) and do a search on this forum and at the manufactures website.
