I dont have a real good picture but my defroster vents are on a slope towards the window. So it looks like to me my dash is 3 inches or so higher then the front part slopes to the bottom of the window. Your dash looks straight to the window to me.

The really interesting thing here is that my
2014 Axis dash looks a lot like yours and not like RevJeffery's. Thor must have tried something for a while and then went back to the slanted vent design.
