Fall trip to PA, NY, and Vt

We just got back from a 2 week trip to see the leaves in New England. We left Durham NC and drove to Warren PA in our 2016 Axis 24.1 E 450 to see our son. We stayed there a few days then went to Lake George NY for 3 days and happened to be there for the big Garage Sale in close by Warrensburg NY. It was interesting. There were quite a few thing to do in Lake George. The leaves there were just starting to turn there. We were told they were about 2 weeks late due to weather conditions. We then went to Arlington VT and stayed there for 4 days. We drove around quite a bit in our towed car. We went to New Hampshire and several small towns and villages in VT to eat and shop. We saw the best leaves in the central VT hills/mountains. We then drove back to Warren PA for a few days and went to a fall festival - then drove back to Durham NC.

For leaves - we saw some good color but we were about a week early. We drove about 2100 miiles in the RV and about 600 miles in the towed car. We got an average of 9 mpg in the RV and had no issues. On the negative side it rained virtually every day we were were on the trip. We did see a bit of sun now and then. The RV performed well in the hills/mountains and I used the tow/haul trans feature successfully.
