Tacouser - i just looked and there is no manufacturing date so I can't tell you for sure the age. I bought it off another Thor forum member but then went a different direction for towing my toad so I do not need it. It did perform perfectly the one time I used it from MD to NC and back. Everything is in good condition along with the cables. No worn, crushed or damaged areas. Easy to hook up. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
