Water in Shore Power Cord

Starting to winterize and store the unit (Thor ACE 27.1- 2014) for the cold NH winter. It has been plugged into shore power while sitting next to the house for 2 months. When I removed the shore power cable from the unit, rusty water dribbled out of the connector. Luckily no electrical issues before after removal. Tried to take plug apart without success other than being able to remove 3 rusty screws holding the plug together. No obvious signs of water entry around A/C connector on unit nor the plug itself. Thinking it best to replace the shore cable. Anyone else had this issue? Thanks, Al Foster
