Chassis Battery

No one that I have read have ever removed the battery by moving it forward. People have either removed the right front wheel and a panel as I recall and handed it down to a helper or by removing the passenger dash work area.

I opted to have the battery come out through the interior passenger work area and fashioned a hinge under it for future access. I also had the air ducts (2) flex tied up to the top of the engine area so they are not laying down on the top of the battery posts.
