Ok, thanks. I might just replace the low beam only. Thats the one that bothers me the most.
Well you should be able to use a relay that when your high beams go on it tells the low beams to come on as well. Perhaps with LED its different (low voltage draw) but with like halogen you want both lights (HI and Low beam) to have thier own power supply so you dont over load something (like wiring, light switches, fuses etc) so the small gauge OEM wiring it not trying to power both bulbs at the same time.
Not sure off hand how to wire with relay but I bet you can search online to find a diagram. Prob. something with the OEM light switch so it turns both on with OEM wiring.
