Yeah, couple of years ago, i lived in the country. One morning i got in the truck, started it, warmed it up and drove away. In the stopped traffic I heard some scratching and something burning. I couldn't figure out the problem (i wasnt on fire and nothing was either), and i didnt have time really to stop, so I kept going. This happened for a couple of days then stopped. Ok, two weeks later I opened the hood to check for all the fluids and right between the bell housing and the firewall was a dead Squirell which was stuck in there. Uugghh. Had to remove the body.
