Our problem was the slide cover wasn't rolling in like it should. We got as much snow and ice off as we could with a broom then retracted and extended it a couple times to roll as much as we could. It still wasn't rolled completely but we took off anyway, drove a few miles in sunshine, stopped, extended and retracted it again and all the leftover snow and ice fell off. I figure the vibration of a few miles on the road loosened it. Probably not the best solution but thankfully it worked. All I got to say, cant wait to get back to Florida and no more trips north in November cause you never know what weather you'll have!
