I also use full synthetic, in the viscosity listed in the owner's manual. I use it because it's supposed to last longer between changes, and since the MH is really used for so few miles i think it makes no sense at all to change based on miles

Just did mine last weekend. The filter and plug are very easy to reach and the thing sits high enough so that I don't need a pit or ramps. I do the genny at the same time,non synthetic is the viscosity per the manual.

Mine is a 5/8 inch wrench I believe it is.
